Riyadh’s inaugural ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia records strong international momentum and impressive local market impact
4,000 visitors reinforce Saudi Arabia as a hub for workplace solutions, technology, and innovation
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – October 2025: The debut edition of ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia concluded successfully last month in Riyadh, unveiling new business opportunities at the Kingdom’s first dedicated trade fair for workplace, office design, and hybrid working solutions.
Over three days of networking, creativity, and knowledge exchange at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Centre, the trade event – which ran from 16–18 September – attracted over 4,000 visitors from Saudi Arabia and beyond, underscoring the Kingdom’s growing appeal as a platform for international trade and investment.
Featuring more than 100 exhibitors from 14 countries, ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia was staged in strategic partnership with dmg events and Koelnmesse, one of the world’s leading exhibition organisers and the company behind Cologne’s internationally acclaimed ORGATEC trade fair.
“The positive response to the debut of ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia reflects the appetite for a professional B2B platform in the sector of modern workspace,” said Denis Steker, Senior Vice President of Koelnmesse. “Given the immense investment into office spaces in the Kingdom, our event is an answer to the vast demand of international companies settling down in Saudi Arabia these days.”
A Hub for Knowledge and Dialogue
A defining feature of ORGATEC WORKSPACE was its role as a knowledge-sharing platform, a forum for fresh ideas and meaningful dialogue. More than 50 experts shared insights on workplace design, real estate, human capital, culture, and technology, blending global best practices with local perspectives.
Among the flagship discussions was a panel entitled Workplace Strategy & Corporate Real Estate: Aligning Space with Performance and Growth. Ian DS Sinclair, Partner & Head of Programmes at Knight Frank MENA, and Nadim Farah, Head of Corporate Real Estate, Saudi Arabia at Turner & Townsend, explored how workplaces can shift from being cost centres to strategic assets that influence agility, talent attraction, and long-term value. They highlighted the impact of AI and technology on work patterns.
Another standout session, Designing for Diversity: Inclusive Workspaces in a Transforming Saudi Arabia, focused on embedding inclusivity, cultural awareness, and belonging into the workplace. Panellists stressed that true inclusion goes beyond compliance, ensuring people of all genders, ages, abilities, and backgrounds feel connected. With Saudi Arabia’s evolving demographics, the conversation also explored multigenerational needs, universal design, and culturally sensitive solutions.
Industry Voices
The inaugural edition also included dedicated exhibitor categories covering office furnishings, IT and telecom solutions, construction and management systems, and organisational planning tools, such as Office Hub, Damons, Haworth, ABL, and Digilock.
“ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia 2025 provided an excellent platform to strengthen our presence in the Middle East,” said Verica Savkovic, Product & Marketing Manager at ABL. “ABL has been delivering power solutions in the region for more than seven years and our products received highly positive feedback from customers who have already implemented them in their projects. The event brought together key decision-makers and visionary initiatives, giving us the opportunity to showcase our latest power and ergonomic solutions designed to support the future of modern workplaces.”
Mohamed Mabrouk, Retail Business Manager at Office Hub, added: “ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia provided an exceptional opportunity to connect with decision-makers and explore the region’s rapidly evolving workspace trends. The quality of visitors and the genuine business interest exceeded our expectations, making it a truly worthwhile investment for our brand.”
A Catalyst for Growth
ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia has established itself as a pivotal platform for the Kingdom’s design, workplace, and fit-out industries. With more than US$1.7 trillion in active construction projects, many of them mega-scale developments, and a rapidly diversifying consumer market, these trade shows are set to become cornerstone business-generation platforms for the Kingdom.
“ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia has surpassed expectations in its ability to convene industries, stimulate dialogue, and deliver tangible business outcomes,” said Elaine O’Connell, Senior Vice President at dmg events. “This event has clearly demonstrated its effectiveness as a catalyst for growth and innovation within one of the world’s most dynamic markets.”
